My First Attempt at Stamping on Candles.....

Attempt 1
Attempt 2

Well, I am rather pleased with my candles, actually!!! I am surprised they turned out as well as they did.  They are not perfect though.  The first one I didn't cut the tissue paper close enough to the image, so its a bit tricky getting it all stuck down, and the second candle I melted a bit too much with the Hair Dryer....oops! So it has a few dents in it! haha  It's not too obvious though.  Also some of the tissue paper didn't stick down again.  Practise makes perfect, as they say!
I have been thinking of making these as my Wedding Favours, as it's nice and personal, and fun to do.  Still not sure yet though!  Got lots of ideas!

Anyway, if you fancy having a go at this, I recommend following Katie's Instructions, as that's what I did!  So, thanks katie!

They are both great hun! :-) And would make lovely wedding favours too! I hope all the plans are coming together nicely (And hope you managed to pick the right dress out of the two you had narrowed it down too!) xx

Hi Lou
your candles are fab, I tried to do them as Christmas presents last year and after 4 attempts I gave up and made candle holders instead lol! What a lovely idea to have them as wedding favours too - you must have the patience of a saint to want to do that many!!
Hugs
Hayley

PS you got a mention on my blog this week ;o) xx
